New faces at Rober

We are pleased to welcome some new faces to the Rober team.

Russell Burton has moved from sister company, Speed Plastics as a lead engineer and will be overseeing the production of all Rober’s pressure ulcer relief mattresses. Darren Godber will be working alongside Russell as an engineering operative along with Josh Wallace, who is currently studying Electrical Engineering at Chesterfield College. Tracy Orwin will also be working within customer services liaising with all Rober’s customers, suppliers and distributors and Ruth Swann has joined the manufacturing team as a machinist.

Based in Chesterfield, Rober develop and manufacture ‘zero pressure’ mattresses, which use automatically controlled changes in airflow to vary and eliminate localised pressure. The company’s dynamic supports are designed with input from medical professionals to minimise the risk of pressure ulcers in people with restricted movement. They also reduce the need for manual repositioning, reducing the burden on nursing and carer support.
